NEW: Recorded around 1996 - 1998. The main group at the forefront of the First Wu-Tang extended collective of super groups then known as U.K (United Kingdom/United Kings/Universal Kingdom). The UK was started by C.O.I.N.S, Sunz Of Man, Royal Fam, Black Rose Family, Beggaz, Brooklyn Zu and Makeba MoonCycle. The group later expanded with Popa Wu, Brooklyn Zu and others into Population Clik.

C.O.I.N.S. (Calculating Old Into New School) was at the forefront of this movement, completing their album which was initially meant to be released by various labels such as Wu-Tang records and others, You'll Move Records released an EP "Who Got Change" in 1998 but that was the only released project from the group outside of featuring on a number of soundtracks, compilation and features. Consisting of 6 members, Armel went on to be signed to GZA/Genius Liquid swords entertainment, some of the members got locked and others went on to do solo projects such as Holy Smokes and Spanky Splash. Album came about as a fan of the group who worked closely with Holy Smokes on a project out in Europe kept bothering Smokes about the project and eventually and luckily after 6-7 years of working together and closely, they found a lost cassette tape containing the full album. This album is on the same length as the rare and highly sort after Royal Fam's "Black Castle" album. 

 Fully produced by the groups main producer Life Exists (L.E) and features the first lady and only queen of the UK posse the lyrical and talented Makeba Mooncycle. This classic is a vintage era hip-hop from the golden era. The found cassette tape was taken to the studio and resurrected, mastered while still maintaining that gritty sound. Its a timeless piece that should have seen the light of the day more than 20 years ago.

 6 Feet Deep is the debut album of the horrorcore supergroup Gravediggaz. It was released August 9, 1994, by Gee Street Records. The album was re-issued in 1997. The original title of the album was Niggamortis, but it was changed to have a better reaction with the American crowd. However, the record was called by its original title overseas. The European version also included the bonus song "Pass the Shovel".[4] The last question on "360 Questions" is a reference to Tommy Boy Records, to which each band member had been signed at one point. Grym Reaper's first couple of lines from “Here Comes the Gravediggaz” (You don't pull on Superman's cape/You don't spit into the wind/You don't pull the mask off the old Lone Ranger) are from the song "You Don't Mess Around With Jim," originally by Jim Croce. Killah Priest and Shabazz the Disciple made their first released appearances on "Graveyard Chamber" and the single "Diary of a Madman". This led to RZA signing them both to his Wu-Tang Records together with their group Sunz of Man. Dreddy Kruger made his recording debut on "Graveyard Chamber" as well. Three charting singles were released from the album. "Nowhere to Run, Nowhere to Hide" and "1-800 Suicide" found minor success on the rap charts, while "Diary of a Madman" became the group's only single to make it to the Billboard Hot 100, making it to 82.

RE.UP: The Unkownn album, is what I like to call 'pre-season'. This album was recorded out of pocket, from around 1995-2000. It took so long because we were rookies, we were ultimately proud of this product, after the work and experience was put in on this album. Playing studios anywhere from $50-$75 an hour when we were broke was quite a feat, as a result (after ensuing years of sharpening our skills) there are off kilter deliveries, overcrowded rhymes, sparse beats, but the album still resonates a feel. This album was a needed stepping stone towards the Great Migration of Bronze and The Wisemen. Even if imperfect, signs of what would come radiate from this early release.

RE-UP: Although the Gravediggaz started off as a Prince Paul side project and not as a Wu-Tang affiliate as many folks erroneously believe, it certainly didn't take long for one member of the quartet, The RZA, to assume control: the group's (classic) debut, 6 Feet Deep (or N---amortis if you're reading this overseas) features a bunch of cameos from Wu b- and c-teamers, along with several instrumentals that have far more Prince Rakeem influence than Prince Paul's.  Hell, there's even a song called "Graveyard Chamber" on that motherfucker.  Add to that the fact that The RZA and his production cronies essentially took over the group's second effort, The Pick, The Sickle and The Shovel, pushing Paul out in the process, and it's easy to forget just how ridiculous and satirical the Gravediggaz were originally conceived to be.

The Rzarector jumped ship shortly after the second album, having lost interest in working with a group that he didn't originally form, apparently.  (Rumors persist that he has since put together an updated roster for the Gravediggaz, but there really hasn't been anything that has materialized in the past few years, so who the fuck knows if anything will ever come of this.)  Prince Paul was already kind of bored after 6 Feet Deep's release, and being pushed out during the making of the follow-up probably didn't help matters (although, it must be noted, Prince Paul and The RZA are still friends to this day, so it's most likely not a Prince Paul / The Automator-type of situation).  This whittled the group down to a duo: Frukwan (The Gatekeeper) and Too Poetic (The Grym Reaper), who persevered and tried to keep the group's name alive within our chosen genre.

Nightmare In A-Minor, the group's final album, was released independently, roughly five weeks after Poetic lost his battle with colon cancer.  His diagnosis informed quite a few of his bars on the album, adding a level of depth that most hip hop albums simply cannot reach.  The Grym Reaper was actually facing down with the Grim Reaper at the time of its recording, which, unfortunately, made their group name more inappropriate than incidental.  

Poetic and Frukwan kept the Gravediggaz house in order as best as they could, calling upon a handful of outside collaborators for assistance when needed, including a few Wu-Tang contacts they had made during The RZA's tenure.  Prince Paul stopped by to give his blessing, his original brainchild having gained a life of its own, but, unsurprisingly, The RZA was "too busy" (his publicist's words, I'm almost certain) to contribute to Nightmare In A-Minor.  This did nothing to dissuade Frukwan and Poetic, though: the duo handle the majority of the production themselves, having picked up many tips from the two former members of the crew who also happened to be music producers.
