REUP: On December 10th, 2016 Wu-Tang affiliated artist Solomon Childs was almost killed. For petty reasons, while sneaker shopping in Staten Island, NYC, he was shot in the neck and then the back. After a slow and painful recovery, with one of the bullets still lodged in his back, he has now, at long last, prepared his first full length album entitled “Don’t Ask Permission, Ask For Forgiveness”. This album is special. Solomon has sharpened his sword like never before. A reunion with Cappadonna entitled “Dead or Alive” is not the only big thing on this project. His controversial yet inspirationally moving “All Lives Matter” is destined to be a classic hit. Outside of these two really big songs, this project has everything Wu-Tang fans have wanted to hear, and then some. You get that Kills Bamz Kung-Fu sound, straight from the grain. You get the soulful classic emotion that Solomon thrives on, like he did on “Mama Can You Hear Me”. Solomon Childs is back with a vengeance, and instead of a bunch of featured guests, on this adventure he opts for more introspection and limits his guest artists to Cappadonna (Wu-Tang), Hell Razah (Wu-Tang), Ksheen, and Jus-P (Shadow Clan). Fans who have been awaiting a masterful Solomon Childs album, your patience has been rewarded.

INFO_: Jus-P is the “underboss” of the legendary Queens, NY crew known as Shadow Clan. Over the last few years he has made appearances on Chambermusik releases from Warcloud/Holocaust, Solomon Childs, G-Clef da Mad Komposa among others, and has been making his name in the underground hip-hop market. Chambermusik presented this young Hip-Hop solider to the world on this street album entitled “Jus-P and the Supafriendz” which serves to document some of the various artists he has met along his travels in Hip-Hop. Jus-P has since collected quite a few collaborations since then, primarily with Wu-Tang affiliate Solomon Childs. On this second excursion, we find him allied with the likes of The Shield Enforcers, Hell Razah, Merc Versus, Anthai tha Protagonist, Eff Yoo, G.S. Advance (Shadow Clan), KRS-One, Darkskinned Assassin, Dungeon Masta, Godilla, Spit Gemz, Crisis (Black Knights). and others. Production comes from G.S. Advance, Bigz from Shadow Clan, Rediculous, Rawgitt Sunn, Dray Yard, & Dr. G. Additional mixing and mastering were done by G-Clef da Mad Komposa. Ride through Queens with this young soldier of the Zulu Nation as he brings you “back” to a feel that will invoke the “true school” of the early nineties, but at the same time, perhaps the most original new movement in Hip-Hop today.

INFO: Monsters In My Room is the new street/soul-hop album by Solomon Childs. There is just something about Solomon Childs rhyming over Soul Music that really moves the listener. His approach and style are unlike any other emcee. This makes him even more unique since he comes from the Wu-Tang family, first being heard as Cappadonna’s sidekick on the classic album The Pillage. This street album has everything from Soulful interpretations to Child’s versions of recent hits, to classic Wu-Tang flavor. Guest vocalists include Bugotti Bomb, G-Clef da Mad Komposa, Quayshaun, Judah Priest, and up and coming Thrice Great Records artist Eric Drayven.

NEW: As both a young veteran of many Wu-Tang Projects, including most notably those by Ghostface Killah & Cappadonna, Solomon Childs (formerly Killa Bamz) has certainly come into his own. His gravelly voice and streetwise lyrics are Usually heard in a solo setting on Chambermusik, however with "Wu-Tang 4 Life", he shows an even wider array of skills when placed alongside several notable guests. Featured on this album are Sha Stimuli, Buddha Monk, Fes Taylor, Meyhem Lauren, Rassul Allah (L.C.O.B.), G-Clef da Mad Komposa, Darkskinned Assassin, and several other artists. 6 of the tracks are handled by G-Clef da Mad Komposa of Soul Kid Klik fame.
