Method Man Arrested

"Wu-Tang Clan rapper Method Man was arrested in New York on Thursday (May 17), after being pulled over by authorities with almost 30 grams of marijuana in his vehicle. According to reports, the rapper was stopped around 10 p.m. as he attempted to enter the Battery Tunnel in Brooklyn, while enroute to Manhattan. A Battery Tunnel police officer noticed that the tags on the Grammy Award winning rapper's 2005 Lincoln Navigator were expired and promptly pulled him over. When Method Man rolled down his window, the officer said he noticed the strong scent of marijuana. The arresting officer also said he noticed two "blunts" and a plastic bag with more marijuana in plain view. The rapper also admitted to having more marijuana underneath the drivers seat. He was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, criminal possession of marijuana, operating a motor vehicle under the influence and driving an uninspected motor vehicle.
