After stumbling upon a gold mine of records during a trip to Cuba in January, 2010, producer Dub Sonata managed to return to New York with a crate full of dusty Cuban gems. Nights in Cuba is an instrumental album based on samples taken from those records. Layered with upright bass, flute, trumpet, alto sax, grand piano, acoustic guitar, heavy percussion and scratches by Scram Jones; the 19-track album transports the listener to the streets of Havana. Included with the CD is a 28 pg. booklet of photos taken in Cuba
