REUP: Two 4 War was a 2 man Hip-Hop group from Staten Island in the early 2000s, featuring two members of the Shaolin Soldiers, Fes Taylor aka Profes, and L.I.S. Together they put together an underground, indie classic entitled Moneta with producer Killa Mac. Initially released well after its recording date, in 2006, it made a big impression with Wu-Tang fans, as it had that grimy, soulful feeling of many early Wu Projects, in spite of being a decidedly Non-Wu artist. This release has historical significance because it demonstrates more about the Staten Island sound of that era, outside of Wu-Tang. It's a superb document of a movement in Hip-Hop history.
