TI2 is the followup to the 2009 Money Maker/EMI release Terminal Illness, which featured Sean Price as well as UK artists C Mone and Triple Darkness, and received radio play from DJ Premier. In 2010 Duck Down Records released Adamantine, Endemic's collaboration record with Ruste Juxx which featured General Steele of Smif N Wessun and Ill Bill Regarding Endemic, Tragedy says "Endemic is more than a beat maker or producer; he actually understands how to marry an MC to his sound, that's more than hip hop – that profound!"
